Product Overview
The GQ6016ZA‑X‑T/R XLR‑to‑fiber audio optical transceiver enables long‑distance, unidirectional transmission of 16 channels of balanced XLR audio over a single fiber optic cable. The device features professional‑grade 3‑pin XLR connectors, converting incoming audio signals into digital data, performing digital multiplexing, and then modulating the signal into an optical format for transmission. At the receiving end, photoelectric conversion is carried out, followed by demultiplexing and digital‑to‑analog conversion to restore the signal as an analog output.
The Canon‑type (XLR) audio optical transceiver consists of an optical transmitter and an optical receiver, which are used in pairs. It is widely employed in radio‑station audio transmission, live television broadcasting, live concert broadcasting, high‑definition video conferencing, film studios, distance learning, and other applications.
Product Features
1. Supports balanced audio transmission via 16 XLR connectors in the forward direction.
2. The optical port supports multimode or single-mode, single-fiber or dual-fiber, and is available with FC, SC, ST, or LC connectors.
3. The audio interface is a standard broadcast‑grade analog XLR balanced connector, with a high dynamic range of 100 dB.
4. Automatic high-pass filtering to isolate the DC offset.
5. Intelligent noise suppression system, designed to handle soft rising or falling ramps and analog noise reduction, with a 100 dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and zero‑pop operation.
6. The audio interface features three-level lightning protection, meeting IEC 61000-4-5 (8/20 μs) standards: common-mode surge voltage of 6 kV.
