Product Overview
The GQ5000-16 fiber optic transceiver rack is a highly integrated central device for fiber optic transceivers, capable of housing up to 16 plug‑in modules—each supporting either 100 Mbps or Gigabit speeds and compatible with both multimode and singlemode fibers—within a single rack while providing unified power supply. This design not only reduces cabling and simplifies the system architecture but also facilitates management and maintenance. The rack supports hot‑swapping and dual‑power redundancy. Both power supplies operate simultaneously, thereby reducing the load on each unit and extending their service life. If one power supply fails, the other can continue to provide power independently, ensuring uninterrupted operation of the transceivers. During maintenance or replacement of a power supply, there is no need to remove the transceivers or dismantle the entire rack from the cabinet; simply pull out the faulty power module from the rear of the rack for servicing or replacement, making maintenance exceptionally convenient and efficient. As a result, this solution delivers a highly reliable, high‑capacity, highly integrated, and cost‑effective fiber‑optic network hub for Ethernet‑based systems, characterized by stable performance, robust power capacity, ease of operation, and straightforward maintenance.
