Product Overview
The industrial‑grade 1/2‑channel bidirectional RS485 optical transceiver converts bidirectional RS485 signals into optical signals for transmission over fiber optic cables. It features SC, FC, or ST fiber interfaces and supports either single‑fiber or dual‑fiber configurations. This RS485 optical transceiver addresses the limitations of conventional RS485—such as short transmission distances and poor noise immunity—while effectively mitigating electromagnetic interference, ground‑loop noise, lightning strikes, and voltage surges, thereby significantly enhancing the reliability, security, and confidentiality of data communications.
This product features a DIN‑rail‑mountable aluminum‑profile heat‑dissipating enclosure, dual redundant DC power inputs, an IP40 protection rating, and an extended operating temperature range of –40 to +85°C, ensuring long‑term, stable, reliable, and safe performance in harsh environments—including high and low temperatures, dust, and electromagnetic interference. It is suitable for use in telecom equipment rooms, LED display communications, security surveillance, intelligent transportation systems, power monitoring, environmental monitoring, and other demanding applications.
