Product Overview
TDMoverIP devices are primarily used to transmit E1 signals over IP networks. They enable carriers and enterprises to seamlessly and reliably connect TDM equipment to user Ethernet within a standard, low-cost wireless or wired Ethernet/IP architecture—without any degradation in quality. TDM over IP is transparent to TDM signals, ensuring seamless connectivity for any device with a physical E1 interface, such as PBXs, mobile base stations, SS7 signaling equipment, and voicemail systems. It can be deployed in IP‑based communication systems, including LANs, WANs, MANs, and wireless networks.
It features eight E1 service ports, two Gigabit Ethernet electrical ports, one Gigabit Ethernet optical port, and a console management interface.
Product Features
1. Provides both a console (CLI) and a web-based management interface for easy installation and deployment.
2. Provides 8 E1 circuits, 2 Gigabit Ethernet electrical ports, and 1 Gigabit Ethernet SFP optical port.
3. The E1 interface supports both 75-ohm and 120-ohm types without requiring any configuration.
4. It supports transparent transmission of non-framed/framed E1 (N×64 kbps) signals over IP networks, in compliance with the relevant provisions of G.703.
5. Clock recovery employs a proprietary clock‑algorithm technology, ensuring stable frequency restoration with low jitter and drift; moreover, the recovered clock’s jitter and drift comply with the G.823/G.824 and G.8261 standards.
6. High transmission efficiency and low latency; Ethernet packet length is configurable, supporting long packets; VLAN configuration is supported.
7. Supports E1 link packet-loss indication.
8. Supports local and remote E1 loopback functionality, as well as local E1 enablement settings.
9. High transmission efficiency, with bandwidth utilization as high as 90%.
