Application of Digital Video Optical Transceivers at Traffic Intersections
Depending on the specific conditions of each city, one or more surveillance cameras and Guangzhou Guangqiao’s GQ6000 series digital video optical transceivers can be installed at each traffic intersection, with an additional pan-tilt unit and its controller deployed at each location. The surveillance cameras capture real-time video footage of traffic conditions on urban roadways, primarily monitoring vehicles within a defined area around the intersection. The pan-tilt units can be controlled remotely from the control center via computer, allowing users to adjust the camera’s horizontal rotation by 360 degrees, vertical tilt by 90 degrees, and zoom functionality.
